OK guys it is finished at last!
This is my version of Snowman's Kenworth W900 short frame truck with 40' reefer trailer. Have a look and see what you think.

I did the Trans Am to go with it as well

I know its a truck related site so please excuse the car but I thought a few of you might like to see the complete set.
Thanks guys
Neil

Brilliant, well done. The car adds to the effect.

Unfortunately it's not full of beer as I have drunk it all (that's why it has taken so long to finish it!!)

I have struggled with the trailer graphics to get it looking as good as it does. They come in two parts and have to be trimmed to line up correctly, but I think the ones I bought were a cheap copy of the proper thing and have a slightly different colour on the join, trouble is you don't find out until it's too late.

There is a guy in America that I got the gold stripes for the truck from that does the full set, but they are expensive and I had already bought the other ones. Sods law!!
Perhaps I will build a diorama for it and park the truck next to a lamp post

Just love the movie aswell as the truck ! I think You did a nice job with this one Applause

If i ever should decide to do something american this should be the one. One question though - is it dark brown or black. I always thought it had the same colour as the TA ?

Regards
Soren

The Trans Am is black but the truck is brown.
The truck colour is supposed to be Black Coffee so I used Peugeot Cafe Noir from Halfords. It sounded close enough!! lol

Good looking combo, when you build the diorama are you going to do a dodgy bloke with a mo ?

I have been looking at doing the police car but no-one makes a kit for a Pontiac Le Mans. The only hope is to find something close to alter or adapt, or to try scratch building one. At least it wouldn't need a roof and could look quite rough!! lol
