Well, the lights...that's a long story. I am busy finishing the whole model these days so I hope I will get back to this during the next week and see if I have some progress pics.

The last pictures uploaded are showing the last phase of paintjob. Once the clear coat was dry and polished, I was able to start with the final assembly which meant long weeks of patient work of assembling all the parts together.
I started with the side skirts, I mean the fuel tank and the toolbox wall. The toolbox and lighbarts are CTM item I have already mentioned above.

Working with the grille was a real pleasure. Everything was painted and I just had to stick it all together.

Thank you, guys. It is alway nice to hear that you like the result and respect the amount of time I have spend when working on it.
All of the light were painted with a mixture of Humbrol clear oragne and Tamiya Acrylic Red and Yellow.
I usually started with a mixture of red and yellow to provide first bright coat of orange. It was too bright usually so I went for another coat or two of the same paint - just a general mixture of yellow with a bit of red mixed together on a piece of plastic card. This is how the main light indicators were done.
The rest of the orange lighs, the marker lights all around especially, were done with a few coats of acrylic paints followed by Humbrol's Clear orange which is quite dark and gives a real depth and shadows. What makes a big difference is the lense background color - I use Alclad Chrome or bare metal foil for clear parts mostly.

What can I say but - WOW!!!! A true master you are. I would really like to know our secret to gluing all the parts together without getting glue all over the parts. I mean, it must be difficult. Amazing work.

Let's move forward as the model is nearly finished.
I had to created another pair of marker lights for the front bumper.
The sinvisor was fitted with orange lenses.
A black oil paint was applied into all the gaps.
This was followed by finishing some of the last tiny details:
The CTM Scania set wipers:
The next pictures will show you the finished model.
