Thanks Rich for putting up the pics and thanks for your comment :)
Yes I also think that the colours go very good together. At first I was a little pensive about those colours but now when I see them "live" I think they look quite good. I´m not sure about the colour of the crane but I think it will be black like the Hiabs are.

no!...don't do it black.if you do the drop sides white go blue on the crane.or if you go blue on the sides then white for the crane.or blue and white for a custom painted crane.........it will look nice guarantee itWhistle
but like i said its your build janne and you are doing a cracking job on it well done Applause Applause Applause

Today i had a little "fight" with the airbrush and it ended up with a coloured frame ;) Also the V8 has found it´s place.

Well janne, that is coming along very nicely!! Didn't think the black chassis would work, but it does.and as your Going to paint the crane blue, the black chassis breaks everything up.so a very good job well doneApplause Applause

Rich, going back some time, the company I worked for did a contract for a Scania dealer or the buyer of a number of Scanias, can't recall their name now but they were black chassis, light blue bodywork, lower half of cab and self loader [Hiab] cranes, white top of cab. Cant recall if the wheels were blue or black now but the blue crane looked great with the black chassis especially on the tractors.

Thank you all for the nice comments :) I really appreciate them. :)

@ Rich: I think the hubs stay grey as they are. (Scania original chassi grey). I´m not sure about the hinges yet, I think they´ll also stay as they are.......

That worked out very well, good paint finish to it,are you doing a trailer for it? How are you going to get the interior in to it?

@ Toxic: Thank you, yes I´m also pretty satisfied with the result. At this point I´m not going to make a trailer for it, but maybe in the future.....

Like I said before I made a huge mistake when i put assembled the cabin before I put in the interiour (hmpf). I have the cut upf the floor to get it in to the cabin. (Hmmm) :( That´s life when you don´t always use your small braincells and also are a little bit to fast.

An old jungle saying: "Now we stop thinking and just do it"
