Hey Kevv!

It looks very very fine.. I started to make Scania 142, but I stopped for a while and I took care for Volvo. Now when I am looking on your photos, I am considering coming back to Scania.
Hope you will manage finish before Jabbake, but don't hurry - in this profession it is very unneeded.
Cheers,
Maciek

Yes the decals are being made as we speak.
Don't know if they will be finished on time before Jabbeke.

@ Maciek: I've seen your Volvo (Pekaes) really like it, my next model will be a Volvo to Dancing

Nice builds there, I'm a big fan of the Heller 141.

Great looking model, superb finish but why the tiny fuel tank and shouldn't the winding handle on the spare wheel be stowed elsewhere?

Contractor, look at the photos on page one -- they show that the real truck had that small fuel tank as well, and the winding handle was inserted into the winch for the photos. As to why -- you'd have to ask Scania.

Aye Brendan, I appreciate that the real one was the same but was wondering why such a small tank was fitted-obviously there's not much room for a much bigger tank but.... As to the spare wheel winder, again, fair comment but it makes you wonder why, think theft and the way the handle protrudes leaves it susceptible to damage?..

I think you answered your own question about the fuel tank Len. As for the winding handle -- probably just off the factory floor and into the studio for the shoot. Once the truck was on the road, it was probably removed.

Nearly finished apart from some decals that still need to be fitted.
