during the forum revamp I must have got lost in the system along with past pics, finished this one a couple of weeks ago, just in time for Central Victorian model show in Australia run by Nigel and Renee Lowe of Auslowe, for this I won best senior Bobtail and a memorial trohpy much to my surprise Angel

I did this in the style of a early version of ice road truckin, converted kit engine to a 335 small cam Cummins with 15spd R/R did most of airlines and wiring etc

Fantastic model! And the tires look great.
And the paint work clean, clear and professional.
From where did you get the rear tires?

Hi Klaus, I brought the rear tires through Sourkrauts site some time ago, they are urethane ones made by Moluminum.

where are the piano hinges on the bonnet from?
It'd be so much easier if they just made kit's of this thing.

They were small plastic ones i found at my local hobby shop, think they are used in r/c air craft, i cut them down and removed hinge pin, then added a few together and put in a longer hinge pin. Next time i'm home I'll post a pic of them before and after, not perfect but still look the part Think
